The Rodey Law Firm is accepting resumes for a Legal Billing Specialist position for its Albuquerque office.
Responsibilities include: entering and processing data related to billing including—using firm’s billing software to generate monthly invoices, invoices for e-billing and all other tasks associated with invoice preparation; following up with, and resolving, billing issues; observing confidentiality in all client and firm matters; and performing other duties as assigned. Needs to be a self-starter, willing to take initiative and work as a member of a team.
Qualifications:
Experience/Education: Must have a minimum of one year on the job experience and be able to demonstrate an understanding of billing policies and procedures and carry out routine accounting duties.
Must have a High School diploma or GED certificate; ability to work amicable with coworkers; ability to communicate orally and in written English; ability to perform essential duties with time constraints, interruptions; ability to recognize and report data entry request inconsistent with firm procedures; good organizational and interpersonal communication skills; and ability to work overtime if necessary.
