Ms. Miller returns to the Rodey Law Firm as a Director in the Albuquerque office. Ms. Miller was previously a member of the Rodey Law Firm from 2000 to 2009. She practices in the Professional Liability Section of the Litigation Department with an emphasis on medical malpractice and professional liability defense. Her professional liability defense includes physicians, medical professionals, medical facilities, nursing homes, attorneys, and professionals involved in real estate transactions, particularly New Mexico brokers.
Her general liability practice focuses on complex personal injury, products liability, wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, premises liability, premises security, medical transportation, and work related accidents. In 2014, she tried a seven-week case involving four decedents and four catastrophically injured persons in the California Superior Court: County of San Diego, resulting in a verdict identified as one of the Top 100 Verdicts by Verdict Search. She has tried eighteen cases to verdict, fourteen of which were to a jury.
Her practice has also included the defense of construction defect defense of master planners, developers, and general contractors with a significant focus on common interest association cases including breach of fiduciary duty claims and defense of real estate professionals.
Ms. Miller is licensed in New Mexico and California. Ms. Miller is an attorney instructor for the National Institute of Trial Advocacy.
